Help in Study permit extension

My study permit is expiring on 31st Dec 2021 and I also have failed in some courses during my 1st & 2nd semester.
Will it be a problem to extend my study permit?

Please guide me on this !!

Only the VO can say for certainty if there will be a problem with your failed courses.

But, in my opinion, VO might think that you are not serious about your studies. You are spending a lot for your Canadian education and yet you are failing your courses. If you have failed courses from 1st to 2nd semester, then it may appear you are struggling. VO might think its not practical for you to pursue your studies at high costs. This is just my opinion, and not a VO’s assessment.
