You left Canada for 8 months in the middle of a "Spouse in Canada" sponsorship?

Yes because it was my brothers wedding and shortly after my mother was hospitalized. Had no choice

no one can tell you what will happen. it will be specific to the officer who interviews you. they could very well not know you have left, and i certainly would NOT recommend volunteering this information. You are only required to answer questions that are asked. If they don't ask about it, don't offer up information about it. If they do ask, then you need to tell the truth. Again, all you can do is go in there being prepared to answer questions truthfully. People can only tell you what to expect at landing interviews, assuming nothing else comes up while there. Your landing interview letter should have acknowledged what you need to bring with you to the appointment.
