Guys i need your help..... The visa officer called my sponsor (Filipino-Canadian) and asking for a hard evidence that he will return to Canada once the PR visa is approve. My sponsor and I have been living together here in the Philippines for more than 4 years now (going 5years). He left Canada in 2006 and hasn't return since. Our original plan is to leave my country together once the Visa is approve. I guess this is not possible now since the VO wants my sponsor to go ahead before me. The Visa Officer (VO) have given us 30 days to submit the additional evidence.
Unfortunately, my sponsor cannot return to Canada as his passport expired last September and worse he lost his citizenship card for him to be able to renew his passport. He already sent an application for the replacement of his citizenship last August but I think it will be too late if we will wait for his new passport. So we're planning to request a "limited validity passport" but we're not sure how to apply for this.
Anyone here knows how to apply for this passport? Appreciate the help..
For the evidence being requested by the visa officer, assuming my sponsor can get a limited validity passport, we're thinking of submitting a return plane ticket of my sponsor including his flight itinerary but we're worrying if this is enough to convince the visa officer.
Do you have any other evidence that you can suggest?
