Hi folks

I finally got an interview date for Quebec immigration, after two years, next November – very much exited- it was a dream for me to live in Canada since I was a little boy. Am immigrating under Quebec scheme. I will appreciate your views about my questions.

1) What the interview about and for - when i will get the result of the interview- how far from the landing date?

2) I have not done any medical check - is it normal case

3) What I need to prepare for my interview what is the best to expect (visa for new life) and the worst thing to expect. Any samples.

4) How can I obtain a police certificate from Pakistan – I did a degree many years back and a police certificate from the UK

5) Am highly skilled with high expertise does it mean something for them in the interview

Am sure I read your views and am sure I will be asking a lot.

Take it easy dear, stay relaxed until the night before interview date.
About your questions:
1- The interview is only about seeing you, if your handsome or not, how tall are you, what is your weight, do you meet some Canadian Standards of Beauty or "CSB" as most Canadians love to pronounce (this will adds some points to your application score).
2- No need for medical exam for your case, most guys in this forum went to Canada without the need of it, but if you insist you can ask CIC about, but remember not necessarily to pass it, it is up to you.
3- Nothing to prepare for the interview, don't bring any paper or document (this may lead them feel disappointed about you, where they are entirely trust you). The worst thing you may expect is; if your interview happened during the lunch time, where their meals are not always hot.
4- About Police cert.; just phone any nearest Pakistani Police station, they will bring it to your address the next day, they will also coordinate with UK authorities to obtain British one for you, but, it may take 2-3 days more.
5- Well, last question is complicated, but anyway the worst thing you may expect is; interviewer may feel envy toward you or your high skills (most probably with female interviewers).
