Hi guys, CIC refused my close work permit application due to the invalid pnp certificate (which expired in June 2017). I submitted letter of support and LMIA receipt along with my application as CIC listed. However, the officer refused my request. I am under international student with a job offer stream. In the refusal letter the officer suggested me to get LMIA in order to get CWP. However my current open work permit will be expired by the end of November.
My questions:
May I ask OINP office to extend the certificate? How?
May I apply a visitor record to stay in Canada until PR approval? (My PR application in intake office since June and got reminding letter by then)
If I hold a visitor record, will it affect my PR application?
Any suggestion?
