Help!! applying for a work permit after SINP nomination

Hi all,

If you are applying for a work permit after SINP nomination, then are they going to give a four years work permit? Or less?

I believe you get a one year work permit if you apply for a work permit due to a provincial nomination.
 
I was in the same situation as you. CIC gave my extension until Dec 2017 which is an extension of 1 year and 3 months. In my case they gave me a new work permit until the validity of my passport. Hope thatt helps.
 
I was told that the best way to do it was to submit a paper application, as the online system doesn't support provincial nominee work permits.

After Nomination..you will get a work permit support letter from the province. You fill out the rest of the forms online just like any other application (answer the eligibility questions and CIC will generate the forms that you need to upload) and attach this support letter.
 
I did not recieve work permit lettet.i have applied under oid noc 0213 and have only nomination letter.please suggezt
 
Ontario say that they cant issue letters due to federal changes, but that they support all WP applications.

That said - mine has just been refused as I didn't have evidence that I was LMIA exempt. I don't know what they were looking for. I sent a copy of my Nomination, but hey ho.

CIC may be looking for offer of employment number? This number has to be generated by your employer. Your job migbe LMIA exempted due to you have work permit supporting letter from Province.

I am hoping that it is just the number that they are looking for, and that my employer is able to provide this. They are not back in work until Monday, so I have to wait.

If your job is LMIA exempt, you need to provide CIC with a job no that starts with "A" and usually have seven digits after that (A*******). Your employer has to get this no for you. They need to register with the employer portal at CIC, provide your job details to CIC and pay the 230$ compliance fees to CIC. Then CIC reviews the job details, the employer information and and accepts the job offer. You need to provide CIC with the receipt and the no that starts with "A.

Note : You do not need to wait until CIC reviews and accepts the job offer. You can put your application as soon as you get that file no and receipt from your employer.

I got the SINP Nomination under International Skilled Worker Program : With JOB OFFER .

Now I need to apply for the PR and Work Permit..
Where Should I be applying the work permit and how will my dependents and spouse come along with me?
