All,

I know this thread is a sore thumb, and I apologize in advance.

A close friend of mine who currently resides in UAE, has recently created his Express Entry Profile.

He has Human Capital Age score of 70
Level of Education score of 126
Language proficiency score of 99
Skills transferabililty score of 25
Work experience score of 25

Total: 345

His IELTS break-up is:

L 6.5
R 6.5
W 7.0
S 7.5
Overall band 7.0

His only chances of going to Canada are

a) To get a job offer [which is quite tough as we all know unless you are in Canada] (or)
b) To get a provincial nomination

His NOC is 2171 and 0213

Could someone guide what the best option for PNP would be in his case?

I am a FSW(O) applicant and have practically no knowledge on PNP applications.

I was told by him that Ontario expects a minimum of 400 in CRS.

Does one have to apply for PNP or does one get auto nominated?

Can he make up 55 points to achieve 400?

He is interested in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.

Please ask all pertinent questions and I would be happy to answer them - but please do assist in him realizing his dreams.

Sincerely!!
Vivek

CLB 10 or band 9 in IELTS

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
use the above mentioned calculator and with combination of work ex and ielts it will give you different scores.
Use multiple scores of ielts to figure out how much you can score in CRS
