your spouse will be required by the Canadian govt to file for 2018 tax for the time she was resident in Canada between Oct 4 and Dec 31st 2018 even if she did not earn any income .....filing of personal tax starts in Feb.

However, refer...checklist.....if the sponsor cannot provide CRA notice of assessment (NOA), they can still apply but need to provide explanation.....refer checklist.

This is normal. It takes 8-10 weeks to receive a notification.

Sorry to bother but why is that such a long time does that mean it will not be processed next 8-10 weeks
Thank you for help
This is the normal IRCC process. They receive a very large volume of applications and things aren't processed immediately.

This is a very strange story. How did your wife get citizen by descent? Did her parents move to Canada as refugees during the war in the Balkans and then return. /meanwhile your mother went to Canada as a refugee but for some reason didn't take you.

Hahah yeah it sounds strange indeed , no my mom has two parents in canada and two sisters , so my mother got visa in 2017, and then she decided to brake the rule and go for refugee status , while my wifes father was a canadian long before my wife was born , so she got citizenship by descent straight passport , and then she decided to go to canada for a better life for me and my son and for herself ,
Now she at canada and want to sponsor us to join her so we can build a new life there , thats why im curious of processing time and things related to my application . because my son is very small he need s his mom he misses her .
