Guys I overstayed in uk for 3 years on student visa, I Lived in the uk only for enjoying, and I did it, after that I came back to India, and now I got married my wife wants to pursue masters degree in Canada , if I apply for spouse visa or dependent visa to Canada what would be the scenario? Please answer it

None of us can tell you for certain what the outcome will be. You'll need to be honest about your immigration history when you apply to come to Canada. This may impact your ability to be approved.

Spouses of international students are never guaranteed a visa/permit. Any temporary visa/permit may be difficult to secure but PR will be much easier to be approved with an overstay.

An overstay is an overstay and must have made you inadmissible so its really difficult for you to explain what made you overstay to the visa officer. Spouse visa is again a temporary visa which will again in your case would not be approved looking at your history of overstay in the UK as Canada & the UK both have FVEY alliance and can cross-check the immigration record. As @canuck78 mentioned above you would be better off applying for PR or Work Permit direct with Express Entry or by getting a job offer from Canada.

Whatever you do, DO NOT hide the overstay in your application form as it may lead to a 5-year ban for misrepresentation of facts.

I am curioius. How did you get out of the UK after overstaying? were you fined or arrested or deported?

Cheers
