Supposing I'm planning to get pregnant in Ontario as an internacional student (college), could someone recommend a private health insurance that covers the costs, please? I know it doesn't help for immigration and
I'm not trying to take advantage. It is just because I'm already 38 and it must happen now or never. Thanks.

Sorry I don't know but bumping your thread in the hope that someone who knows about it helps you.

Good luck

If you cannot find one you must pay for everything yourself..extremely expensive.all your doc monthly/weekly visits.hospital room.delivery.tests.etc.plus hopefully its a healthy pregnancy because you have to pay for specialists.plus you have costs of living expenses.if you are not a student here on study visa i think you have to leave canada

It doesn't look like there are any options if you are already pregnant. Have a look thorough this site, it seems to be a decent source.

As an international student you already have health insurance as part of your school fees, so check what is covered in your insurance.

It's called UHIP.

I believe all Universities except University of Windsor uses UHIP. Colleges I believe use an assortment of private health insurance. However this is part of the tuition and no additional cost needs to be paid from the student. Also some student bodies have their own insurance plan for all full time students like Humber's IGNITE.

Important to look through your policy. You usually needy to maintain you student status to maintain coverage. Not sure what you are applying for but would start by seeing whether you get the student permit.

Is the dad international student? PR?CC?.If he PR/CC then he can sponsor you.but depends on his situation.but remember having a baby together DOESNT guarantee approval of PR.you must show genuine relationship.
