Health Card after Flag Pole

Hi All!

In next couple of weeks i'll be getting confirmation for PR (passports have already been sent to Case Processing Centre Ottawa). I have question regarding health card. Generally there is 3 month waiting period for newcomers in Ontario. What about the ones who are already in Ontario on work permit and have health coverage. Will they have to go through this 3 month waiting period after flag pole?

Nope.. you would just need to take the landing document/ PR card once you have it.. you don't need to wait for 3 months again
