What solution would you like? :) As Daniala said above, CIC is aware about this problem and they are working on it. All we can do is to wait until it has been fixed.

This type of error requires a developer to look to the source and to enact fixes.

Most developers I know won't work weekends. The only time I would agree to it is if there was incentive. That said, no one is looking at it until tomorrow, and it could be a fast fix (couple hours) or a prolonged fix (weeks).

The root cause is easy for the public to see. Cbc ran a story thursday stating that there was security flaws in GCMS. Since myCIC ties directly to GCMS, they tried to enact a quick fix or a work around to protect the system. Obviously not tested. Here we are.

I never had any problems accessing my CIC , I just checked it now and it's working fine .

Now sure why other members can't access it ? are you guys trying to access from within Canada or outside , Not sure if that would cause an issue .
 
Just checked again and still getting the same message.

I hope they resolve by Monday.

Both from within and outside Canada does not work. I've written before, I cannot access my account with my GCKey but my husband can use his without any problems.

yes, same thing for me now...the website is down...hopefully when it works again I will get my PR...lol ;D :D ;)
 
As a professional from the industry, I had higher hopes for the quality of government services. I can tell you that my employers would never tolerate this...

Unfortunately, it's unlikely that anything is happening yet...

After 70+ seconds of page loading, it does give me the sign-in page, but no style-sheet with it (this is what formats text, adds images, etc).

When you try to use SecureKey Concierge:
Service Temporarily Unavailable

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.



EDIT: after about 5 minutes of hanging waiting to load, I now get this:
Service unavailable
Error 503

We’re sorry, MyCIC is temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance. Please try again later.

Error 503 is the code you have been waiting for -- that means someone is actually doing something.
 
They are totally out again. All of cic.gc.ca is out.

I was able to log onto MyCiC just now.. very slow though!
 
Yes, able to log in as since Friday, this is till happening:

Internal server error
Error 500

Page unavailable.
 
seems like they have fixed the issue.
but the page loads very slowly.
