Have you take the IELTS? If yes, please I need to know how the listening part is. DO you get to listen the who story and then answer the questions or you listen to a story referred to one question and answer it?

Thank you.

IELTS listening test lasts for about 30 minutes. It consists of four sections, played on cassette tape, in order of increasing difficulty. Each section might be a dialogue or a monologue. The test is played once only, and the questions for each section must be answered while listening, although time is given for students to check their answers.

Exactly right. I think the best way is that mjsantos should buy some books of IELTS Preparation to practice. There are many model tests and TIPs for you as well.

And I did and I found it really easy. There would be a question with 5 possible answers. Then, I would listen to a dialogue and answer it as I listened to it. The speed of that tape is fairly slow. For each question, I would listen to the dialogue or monologue and answer it as the same as listen to it. Then, as it jumps to another questions, it does with a pause saying the number of the next question. Seemed easy. Is that what it is like?

Yes, it is. It is easy with this one, but difficult with others maybe. The important thing is that we must get used to it.
