Currently I ma living in US, and I had applied online for Visitor's Visa for Canada. My online application was approved and I was asked to send my passport and other documents (passport, request letter, money order, contact details, prepaid return envelope) to my nearest VAC (Visa application center) I sent all these documents on 28th November via UPS and I was notified by UPS that the package had been delivered on 29th November.
It's been over 10 days but I haven't yet received at email from VAC in New York acknowledging that my passport had been received, nor have I received any tracking number to know the current status of my visa application.
Is this normal that it takes so long before they tell me that VAC has received my passport and processing it, or is something wrong somewhere?
