Have I satisfied 1560 Hours AND One Year Work Experience Yet?

I have 4 more weeks to log in 1560 hours. I hope I could get some insight regarding whether I have satisfied the One Year Work Experience Component yet. Here is my timeline:

December 2015: Graduated university in Canada.

January - June 2016: Worked as an Academic Assistant for a professor at my university. She was teaching an post graduate MBA class and I helped her with those materials and research.
February - April 2016: Worked as a Teaching Assistant / Marker for a professor teaching an undergraduate class.

-> I only logged a total 67 hours working those 2 above positions. So they're part time.

August 2016 - Now: Working as a full time credit analyst for a financial services company in Canada. 37.5 hours/week.

I know that since I am working 37.5 hours a week I am expecting to log in the 1560 hours requirement in 4 weeks. However, have I satisfied the ONE year experience yet? Does it start counting in January 2016 when I started working as Academic Assistant or only in August 2016 when I started full time?

You not only need to work 1560 hours but you also have to work for a period of one year (assuming full-time) in order to claim a year of work experience.

Therefore you have to wait until August 17 to have that year of work experience (couple weeks earlier if you count your part time experience).

That's what I meant. Haven't I already fulfilled the One year requirement when I started working as Academic Assistant in January 2016?

Ah I see. But what do you mean why a couple of weeks earlier if we count the part time experience?

Because from what I understand, there are TWO requirements I need to fulfil to apply for Express Entry:

1/ 1560 hours of work: I haven't fulfilled this year but will soon in a month of two because I am working more than the defined 30 hours/week.

2/ One year of work: If I can only count my full time work, that would be fulfilled in August 2017.

Therefore, shouldn't that mean I have to still wait till August 2017 then because the part time jobs would not be used for requirement 2?

You said you worked 67 hours in total which is equivalent to two weeks of full-time work experience.

1 - This is incorrect, you cannot count more than 30 hours per week for full-time work.
2 - Correct assuming you don't count the part-time work.

A lot of people think "oh I work 60 hours per week, I will have a year of work experience in 6 months!" but that's not the case.

Clear now. Thank you!

Even if 37.5 hours is specified in the job offer?
as said you can only claim to have worked 30 hours per week regardless what the job offer says above that. All the job offer shows is that you meet the 30 hour requirement of full time work over 52 weeks to total 1560 hours full time.

IRCC defines full-time work as "30 or more hours per week." It does not matter if you work 30, 37.5, or 80 hours per week, it is simply "full time" and you need 1 year of full-time work experience...

... OR the equivalent in part-time work (fewer than 30 hours per week). If you work part-time, then you need to complete 1560 hours (which by definition will take longer than one year). You can prorate part-time experience by adding the hours and dividing by 30 - that will give you the # of FTE weeks.

So lets say I work 37.5 hours a week and I get my three paid weeks in a year. So I would be working 52 weeks a year right? But 37.5 times 52 makes it 1950. So I need to work one complete year or till I reach 1560? Help me understand please. Thank you

Both - you have to have 1560 hrs and work for a period of one year.

Right.

You need to work one year. You do not work part-time, therefore you do not count hours.
