Hey Krys:

Yes you are right, tuesday is interview and passport request day! as for the email - they asnswer quickly, same day or in one day - the only problem is the email responses are vague. sometimes i am left more confused and hopeless as before.

i wonder what time the calls start? all day? end of day... lol... i think i am going crazy... seriously... this process is enough to make normal people crazy!

how long have you been waiting?

What is your timeline?

I recieved SA the last week of August. . . They didn't ask for any additional information - so I'm just waiting, hoping and praying.

The website says they close at 5PM. fingers crossed and good luck Krys!

I HIGHLY recommend ordering your notes. The best 5$ you can spend. We were like you, thinking everything was fine because we had not been asked for additional information. Thinking any day we would get that call... WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! To this day, we have not heard anything from Havana, no requests for additional doc, etc, but in the notes, it shows that they are required. If it wasn't for the notes, I would never had know, and would be thinking everything is perfect and no problems and that call is coming any day now. This gave us a chance to get the docs off, and hopefully save some time. And get a better grip on the reality of the situation...

FYI... in the notes, the date of the note about the request is Sept 26. January 20th and they still have not contacted my husband to let him know. As far as we know, everything was fine. 4 months that request has been sitting there, and no call, email, nothing.

The notes really are our only "fly on the wall".

Is there any indication to how much time ordering notes takes away from the actual processing of applications? I don't believe there are many people working on the applications in Havana at any given time, so I am curious who is completing the FOI request and what impact that has on overall processing of files.

Thanks and just curious,

Just ordered my notes!

Our application has only been in Havana since Jan6 is there any point in ordering notes? Do I need to be my husband's representative to do that? And can you send me a link to where I can order notes please.

This is the link https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do
Not sure about the representative.. Maybe you should wait to order them, but then again it is only $5 and maybe you'll see something useful on the notes

I feel like ordering my notes again. :'(

If they actually updated the online application status checker they would save the time of people asking for their notes. Mine still says "Application Received".....since June 12th. >:(

Thank u Keys for the link just ordered notes . Has anyone tried for a visitors visa at this stage of the process and gotten approval?

I want to order my notes but what if the file gets pulled out of order every time we request info? Maybe it's beat just to wait?

I've never felt so confused and torn more than I do now!!!

I would think that the notes that u get are on an email file similar to what u get when u call the CIC number and the file is not slowed down so I sent a request . Guess I 'all see when I get back. Just wondering if applying for a visitor's visa for hubbie while in Cuba if there is a chance of approval Anyone heard of getting approval???

As long sd you asked for the notes electronically (email) not not request copies, then it does not affect the order. The notes are from the system, so don't actually touch the pile. If u ask for copies, then thry have to pull them and that can change the order.
