I hear ya! it will be 5 months since my SA the following Monday (26th). The processing time posted is 9 months, and that's once it hits Havana, so I know we still have a ways to go. Of course, hoping for a miracle that it will come sooner is always on my mind

We will hear something soon! I know it... it's just every day gets a little harder and more lonely...

Most people hear work on the 4th month but with the Holidays I think we lost a good 2-3 weeks of progress... (you know, if it's anything like here in canada.... a week before xmas is a write off and the week after new years is a write off!) thats probably what happend to us!

Lets aim for the 20th!! Tuesdays are the day! ;D

Received SA by snail mail today was sent from CIC Dec 31. Application sent to Havana Jan6. So just starting the 9 month wait still hoping it will only be 4-5 though At least after 5 months this is the best news since we started this process Off to Cuba Jan25-Feb 14.

Fantastic news! I'm sure your very excited to have the official paper in hand! Have a great trip. I'm so envious. This winter so far has not been nice, and I miss my husband. No travel for me until after May . Which, hopefully I won't need to travel because he'll be here by then!!!*please*

yayyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! congratulations Galano! THATS FANTASTIC NEWS, I CRIED WHEN I GOT THE LETTER... I work with my mom, so when i got the email i printed it with my eyes shut and made her read it, i was a nervous reck!

Dont worry - you will be fine, God will gift you a quick process now!

Today is our 9mnth wedding anniversary!! I can't believe all this time has gone by i can't wait - hopfully our 10th we can celebrate together!

We will celebrate 1year 4 months Jan 26 and my birthday on 27th and Valentines Just shoveled 1foot of snow off my deck and doorstep so I am looking forward to sun and no snow. Only 10 more days This process is nuts.

In other news, I received the response from my MP. They just forwarded me the bottled response from Havana - File is in progress...don't call us, we'll call him type of thing. And also reminded me that the "normal processing time" is 8 - 9 months once they (Havana) receive the file.

Thank u I think I'll wait until April and then have my MP call Havana. That will be that will be 6 months since they received it and that looks like the time line for most application there to get visa

Hi Brito! I was told Tuesdays are the days they make the calls... but I heard Wednesday's too...

I dont know...

As it stands I'm feeling a bit depressed today... I was hoping my hubby would have recieved a call by now... But its close to closing time and I still haven't heard word.

I wish I was a fly in that office - so I could update you all!!

They will respond to e-mails everyday from my experience but it seems as though they call on Tuesdays when requesting a passport/interview

Yes you are right, tuesday is interview and passport request day! as for the email - they asnswer quickly, same day or in one day - the only problem is the email responses are vague. sometimes i am left more confused and hopeless as before.

i wonder what time the calls start? all day? end of day... lol... i think i am going crazy... seriously... this process is enough to make normal people crazy!

Yes they don't give much of a response!
I don't like to think about it too much haha it for sure makes me crazy! But i think they close at 4pm?
I got SA September 25th.. Coming close to 4 months so i'm hoping!!
