No email to the VO from my part, but let us know if you have an answer from them please ! What do you see on your Ecas ? Are they working on your application right now ?

I still think we are early in the process

Yes, they have been working on my application since April 2. The status on my CIC site still says the same. It says, Medical results have been received and we are still working on your application. What does your say?

My representative told me that she just got somebody sponsored into months and that was this year from Havana Cuba. So I am just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

It shows that since April 2 ? I got my CSQ from Quebec last week, when they'll receive it, I guess they'll start to work on my applicaiton also.
I really hope !

No it does not show April 2 on the CIC site. That is just what my representative told me that they started to look at my application on April 2. So my guess is that they have started or will start shortly to look at your application. I will definitely keep you posted and good luck with your application. I hope we all have our loved ones by our sides really soon.

I really hope, but I'll be with her in Cuba in 5 little weeks !!!!!

My representative also informed me that the second UCI number would be your wife's number and the first one would be your number. So that being said she also informed me that her application would change first before mine. They would update her address on her UCI form. So when ever you received her UCI number then that is when your application was sent off to the Visa office in Havana And they probably have started to overlook the application.

I did everything by myself and my wife helped me also. It was very long and not easy process. Just to understand how to fill every forms, it was a nightmare sometimes ! But we did our best and they accepted our application and Quebec accepted the CSQ last week. Looks like it was ok the way we did it, but my God the stress I had doing all this !

I contacted Immigroup also at the beginning of the process, but I was feeling that I would be in better control doing all by myself. I just can't wait for all this to be over and live a normal life with my wife. To put our "destiny together" in hands of people who never saw us together is scary sometimes, but I trust that they'll easily be able to see that our relation is genuine and we'll be able to live the life we wish together

Yes I got her UCI on May 22, 2013.

I work 12 hour shifts every day and I could not imagine having to do all the paperwork myself. It was a little expensive but money does not put a price on love. Yes it must have been really stressful for you and your wife to complete the application yourself. In total it cost me around $7000 but it was worth it because I did not have to stress and she took care of everything such as translations communicating with the embassy and making sure all the documents and information Was correct. I had also paid for her to complete documents for our marriage and that costs me $2100. I am hoping that my wife receives the call very soon I am keeping my fingers crossed for everyone else out there as well. God bless Our families.

I had to go to Montreal for Spanish translation of my documents...its 3 hours drive from my home.

Then,I had to go to Ottawa for my documents its 7 hours drive from my home. I went there, took them 1 minute to authenticate my 4 documents and I went back home.

Then I had to go to Cuban Consulate in Montreal to give them my papers so they can put their approval on them. Montreal is 3 hours drive from my home. They accepted 3 out of 4 because the lady in Ottawa forgot to stamp one correctly.

I had to go back to Ottawa for them to stamp my 4th document again....7 hours drive, it took 5 seconds to do.

I then had to go again to Cuban Consultate in Montreal to give all my papers again. This time it was correct !

As you can see, it was not easy process. When you dont know what to do and how to do it, it's very not easy. But we did it and I'm very happy.

Now, we just hope everything will go fast and without problem. I also work full time and doing all this while working was very stressful. But if I had to do it again, I would do it without a doubt. Love is stonger than anything

sometimes ECAS never change lol mine still says medical results have been received but nothing more, it is very frustrating isnt it?
