I have got an offer from a major bank in Toronto. I received an email from backcheck.net to ask for reference check. Does anyone know how backcheck.net works?

I need to input three references. I guess they will receive email about my reference, but will backcheck.net call them?

Will backcheck.net check education and employment record outside Canada?
