Happy anniversary to those submitted on 10/12/2017 with no progress

The problem is every month they have to keep track of their 80% target. Does that mean they won't process the other 20%?
 
Sadly one year for me today and I have nothing to celebrate. Extremely disappointed in how this turned out.

I honestly feel angry. Like I'm being unfairly treated by the government. I've called Canada home for 20 years. I actually felt happy applying for citizenship last year and now this process has taken the joy out of the whole thing.

I have to figure out a way to channel this emotion in the right way and demand fair treatment. There's gotta be something more we can do. Will be pursuing it more aggressively starting Monday.

I don't feel angry ... the feeling is more like when you get stuck on the subway for hours without knowing when you can get off but there's nothing you can do ... well I am getting used to it now

20 years? How long you been PR? You are calling canada home then 3 yrs out of 5 yrs would be reasonable for someone to stay home . I guess you had enough time even before C-24 to apply. My experience so far, more older you are more security matters come to light. They need to check a whole lot thing while you were in canada.

One of my friend received the Oath invitation. His time line is :
1. Application sent: 15 Oct 2017
2. In Process: 17 Jan 2018
3. Test: 10 Mar 2018
4. Decision Made: 12 Oct 2018
5. Oath Letter:19 Oct 2018

So, there is some movement.
PS: His is from Iran.
 
Any movement for applicants who called last week of the week before after 1 year processing time??
 
I was told if I don’t hear anything after two weeks, contact the MP office again... so it seems like I will make that call next Monday
