any idea of whats the current timeline of approval for h1b visas at toronto embassy? assuming interview is waived off?

It was refused. They asked me to come for in-person interview. I work for a product based company. Last visa was also from the same company. They didn't ask for any specific doc in the email.

Finally, Its approved, issues and got my passport back with stamping. They didn't ask any question other then if I still work with same company (Even though my petition and old visa stamp say so). So, I'm not sure why did they call me for an interview. So, Overall it took more than 2 months to get an approval after dropping off my documents initially as no earlier appointment were available.

Hi! I am a new Canadian Permanent Resident and I am eligible for Dropbox for my H1B extension stamping (First H1B was done in India). Does anyone know what are the required docs to prove my Canadian PR status for Dropbox eligibility ? I was told that PR cards are taking almost 4 months to be mailed, so I’m wondering if I can submit a copy of my Confirmation of permanent residence (CoPR) document to prove my PR status and be eligible for Dropbox.

I'd bring every PR document you have, including the COPR. A lot of people were stuck waiting months for PR cards around that time. The consulate ultimately wants proof of your status, so having both the COPR and any PR card evidence available usually makes life easier.

Quick confirmation

I have a visa appointment on Monday at Toronto and realized that I have provided old Insta Id so decided to fill a new DS160

I am not able to update in my appointment so what should I do?

I contacted support and they stated it is locked so cannot be updated. As per them I should do no show and wait for 24 hours. Post that get a new appointment

Take both DS160 ? Will there be any problem or I can contact and get it updated? Any experience?
