So, how can I check the status of my app, I don’t have app number, just UCI

ARO on November 19th 2020
In process March 26th 2021
AIP today June 10th 2021

Is it normal that the file number begins with 4 zeros

Question from a friend: if someone gets deported while his h&c is still in process and he gets AIP can he come back to canada ?

Hi, did you apply on paper or online? Our application was received August 2020, I guess paper applications take longer

I dont think you can apply h&c online. Mine was paper application.

yes he can, but he will have to apply for Authorization to Return to Canada though. Also, chances of getting AIP would fall once he leaves the country. so if there is a small chance to defer deportation, please use it. Our CBSA officer was sweet as an angel - he gave my spouse administrative deferral of deportation until his HC application is decided - he said winning chances would become very slim if my partner leaves. May this man remain forever blessed - he and his boss are the only compassionate people that we met on this long journey.

If you already have aor you can check your status with your Uci number

I have my police records & medical already as I did them 2 weeks ago. Our lawyer will submit it very soon.

the 2nd stage process timeframe is between 45 days up to 12 months
It’s all about background checks security medical and Financial documents
