You may qualify for an 1 year WP under the vulnerable open work program. Make sure you have lots of documentation that you have reported the sexual harassment to your employer and HR if it exists other coworkers. If you have been the victim of a crime please report this to the police.

He's a troll, not someone that you would want to even talk to. Mark him ignore and move on. That's not even a real question for this thread. He very specifically mentioned the "sexual harassment" that he threw my way - hard to even find that info unless you dig through 100s of pages of this thread. Him knowing that part tells everything. He has been openly hateful of your religion too. Keep all of that in mind. RCMP has been notified of him(he has sent physical threats, rape threats, etc to begin with), they are already investigating him.

after you reported physical sexual assault and abuse by your x-partner when he came into your property how long took to you to get back RCMP report based your documentations and evidence?

may I know how RCMP notified you at the very beginning of your sexual abuse and physical harm? and how they sent you back the investigation results ?

Whining ? Okay, than yes ! For me I'm whining or rather, I criticize, and yez even though I am not eligible for permanent residence except on humanitarian grounds ! I'am criticizing a system, and I have the right to do so and I believe that the right to criticize government institutions is protected by the Charter under freedom of expression, which is guaranteed to everyone present in Canada, not only permanent residents or Canadian citizens !
And you know what ?? I will continue to criticize even if my application is approved and even if I obtain permanent residence and citizenship one day. I will keep criticizing this system and I will participate in any peaceful movement, any petition, and possibly even a class action against it !
This is because the system is flawed and overly bureaucratic, I believe it does not respect applicants’ right to fair treatment or to clear and well-reasoned decisions. Many officers act in an unprofessional and irresponsible way...By simply reading court decisions, it is clear that they reject applications without properly reviewing the files or giving serious reasons. This shows a lack of care and accountability. This problem affects all types of applications, whether for temporary or permanent residence...
I have met many people from all over the world. They love Canada and its society, but they never hesitate to criticize IRCC. Many of them even consider IRCC worse than the so-called bureaucratic administrations in Europe (like France or Spain or Belgium) and Asia
Once again, the right to criticize IRCC is guaranteed, if such thing will influence the decision-making process, it would be a clear violation of the Charter and of constitutional values !

The PR Application under H&C was received on summer, 2023, at the Humanitarian office in Vancouver.
The eligibility assessment has not been initiated.
The security assessment has not been initiated.
The criminality assessment has passed
.The medical assessment has not been initiated.
Please note, according to IRCC’s rules and regulations, the application has an estimated time of 35 months of processing times remaining, which takes us to January 2029.
As of today, no final decision on the application has been made.
The responsible office will inform the applicant in writing as soon as a decision is rendered.

I don’t think this makes sense… I’m absolutely sure that there will be changes soon. I also advise you to hope for the AIP for now, because it will definitely make things easier for you and give you a certain level of mental stability. After that, PR will probably come sooner or later !
To show you that this system is flawed and that these timelines are strange, you have to know that there are people who applied in 2023 and have already received PR or at least these confirmation portals, you can see this on Facebook groups.

I’m not “whining” about having an opportunity — I have spent over two decades contributing to this country while trying, repeatedly and in good faith, to regularize my status.

Canada did not “do me a favour” by allowing me to apply. Canada created a public policy specifically for people like me, recognizing that long-term workers without status are part of the social and economic fabric of this country.

I have worked, paid taxes, supported Canadian citizens, raised a childs who has lived almost his entire life here, and helped sustain a family business that employs people and serves the community. I have never committed a crime and have never relied on social assistance.

Applying for permanent residence is not entitlement — it is participation in a legal process that Canada itself established.

If Canada ultimately decides that my contribution, my family ties, and the best interests of my child are not enough, I will respect that decision and move forward with our life's to a country that wanted our service's and respected our efforts to contribute to the country. But it is not “pretentious” to expect fairness, proportionality, and humanity from a country that prides itself on those values.

Wanting recognition for decades of honest work and integration is not arrogance — it’s dignity.
