interesting, when I put that I applied in June 2025, it says more than 10 years. If I'm saying that I have'nt applied yet they say 100 months. Which one should I trust in this case?

Processing could technically be multiple decades actually given how low the quota appears to be for general H&C. H&C does not prevent removal and many people without status who have H&C in process are being removed. Your best option is economic immigration. This may be your only option but realistically not everyone has a pathway to PR. The math hasn’t mathed for quite some time.

what if I will run out of status next year, could it be processed faster if I request?

No. A large portion of H&C applicants don’t have status and H&C does not prevent removal. CBSA rarely deported people with active H&C cases but that has changed. Canada has a large number of temporary residents and a small amount of PR spots. There is no pathway to PR for a large number of them so Canada will try very hard to make them return home. That is sadly the reality. Many would be better served returning home when their status expires, working towards PR while at home and reapplying.

Do we have any news about any reforms they will do for H&C? It is obvious the math is not working for this type of application.
