100K humanitarian population is NOT only those people got AIP
Here is the fact ; spouse , common law partner and same sex marriage they get this amount of the space;
RoC Spouses, Partners, and Children (incl. FCH) Domestic: 52,400 space

Ukraine pathway : 22,000 space
Hong Kong pathway: 32,000 space

So folks don’t trust false promises or fat liars

But honestly it still better than 1,000 annually quota for H&C straight
But again don’t believe those above rants

Hi @Taweda

we also live in Quebec and its for my Mother's application. We got her CSQ in August 2026. Her Back ground checks are all completed as per GCMS notes. I know you are waiting for more than a Year now after CSQ. Did you ordered your GCMS notes to check if its stuck because of that?

Her time lines:

Application june 2023
AIP August 2025
CSQ request: Feb 2026
CSQ : August 2026
It's encouraging that her background checks are already completed and she received her CSQ in August 2026. For those who have been waiting more than a year after receiving their CSQ, ordering GCMS notes is a good idea to understand whether anything is still pending or whether the application is awaiting final review.

These figures should not be interpreted as meaning that everyone with an AIP or a pending H&C application will automatically receive PR under the new plan. Let's share accurate information and avoid creating unnecessary confusion or false expectations for people who are already waiting under difficult circumstances.

Humanitarian Cohort – Up To 100,000 People.

Humanitarian and compassionate grounds, where applicants have already been found eligible for permanent residence.
I think we need to distinguish between applicants who have already been found eligible, those still waiting for eligibility decisions, and the overall humanitarian admission targets.
