Hello everyone,
I received my AIP in April. I responded to IRCC with the required documents and applied for my OWP in May as well. I'm just curious to know if anyone has an idea of how long it usually takes to get OWP approval and finalization of PR. I know the CIC website mentions a processing time of over 200 days, but I’ve heard that OWP after AIP often takes less time than the posted timeline. TIA
Hi, may I know your timeline ?

OWP should take a few months. Getting P2 and eCOPR may take much longer and would plan for around a year.

Hi everyone, especially those from Quebec,
I really need your honest opinions. With the current HC processing time in Quebec already 49 months, and considering the present scenario, it looks like delays might increase even further.
Do you think it’s still worth waiting here? Or would it be better to move to another province where the process is faster and more predictable?

This is a very personal choice however if you have the option to do so, I would leave Quebec.

I’ve already reached 37 months in the process, and honestly, it’s very confusing. When I received my AIP, the processing time was around 22 months, so I was hopeful. But now seeing it stretch to 49 months, I’m really scared what if I reach 49 months and the processing time increases again?

Ah - got it. Hard call in that case. Based on the recent news, I think it's quite possible processing times could increase again.

Omg, what news exactly ?

I thought I saw a post yesterday where someone said that Quebec was reducing the quotas. I'll have to look for the post later.
