Hello everyone!

Short my time line:
July 2011 - apply Refugee claim
Jan 2013 - rejected refugee
Apr 2013 - apply H & C application
Feb 2014 - rejected H & C application
Sept 2014 - apply H & C (second time)
Nov 2014 - AIP received :D

My question are :

Does CIC have to do the background check and medical check again I mean I think they did do that when I applied for refugee ?
When CIC send AIP letter did they do background check by itself or criminal check or I have to try to do it my self ? I am wondering because its hard to d that my self in my old country. Its was really dangerous there and I am really run from there... ???

Thank You!
Regards,
D. Hudson.

What anybody?

CIC will do background and criminal check by its own again.

Results of medical examination are valid only for 12 months. So, you will have to do it again.

Background and criminal check what that mean? I am scary if some BAD persons from my old country will find where I am .... incredible corruption there in police and government.
Have I any protection now after Approval in principle letter?

H&C is a very non-standard process. Unlikely anyone can answer your question. You'll just have to wait.

I appreciated everybody for answers!

Warm Regards,

I don't understand what you mean by "protection". AIP just means approval in principle - it doesn't mean your application has been fully reviewed and approved. Your application will still have to go through the medical, security and background checks. All of these checks are required for your application to be approved.

Thank You Scylla again!

Like I understand, security and background checks - Canada will contact to my old country and etc... what is right or no?

Yes, CIC will contact the government in your home country in order to perform security/background checks.

I think the OP means protection from being removed from Canada, that AIP seems to offer, for those without status.

Thank You Ponga!

You gave us small hope.
We are law-abiding family with out any criminal records and with great support here in Canada , but my in old country very simple to pay to police to open fake case to easy to find you .... :(

Have I provide police certificate by my self too or CIC will do check by own check only?
Thanks,
