I sent an H & C application in June 2015. Now it is mid-August without any response. When should I hear something back?

H&C can take two months for first response (AIP or reject) and can take 3 years for first response.
Usually 6-12 months you should receive first response.

And unfortunately less than 10% chance to get it approval.
