My GCMS notes do not include data concerning my employment history.maksal said:Do they store or save the information of employment history.eg. company name where applicant have worked, no of yrs in each company sort of information ? If yes, can u point me out the field name in gcms note ? Or do they have seperate system to record the info?
Also, does country visa office use gcms system to store the info of temporary visa(visitor)?
Last thing, where is information we submit in barcoded form is stored ?

I am not sure about your second question as it does not apply to me.
I am assuming that the barcoded forms simply provide them with an quick way of populating a lot of the personal information fields in the GCMS.
Have you been able to decode the bar code? How?BCgirl2012 said:Agreed on the third point, too. The barcode info is basically the bio data for the sponsor and the applicant. So you would see those in the applicant and sponsor information sections in the GCMS notes.

URIFiggy said:Is there anywhere on the GCMS that mentions whether or not an interview will be required? I don't think I need one since at the bottom of the notes section it says "Eligibility passed." but I wanted to know if there is a way to conferm this.
BCgirl2012 said:Yes, it would be in the notes section in the last few pages of the pdf.
URIFiggy said:Darn, so I guess there's still a chance that I need an interview then.![]()
i believe CIC keeps temporary visa info...my parents applied for visitor visa several years ago... now i'm sponsoring them... their UCIs have not changed - it's the same as for temporary visa... and in GCMS notes (the physical copy - not the electronic notes) i see FOSS notes from the visitor visa...maksal said:Also, does country visa office use gcms system to store the info of temporary visa(visitor)?

What is CSCD? Anyone know?
My guess was Client Service Commitment Date. It occured in my notes as "CSCD" where someone was observing that they did not complete the field in the file, and then there's the field under the "FAMILY CLASS SPONSORSHIP" heading called "CSC Date", which in my file is blank. Here is some earlier discussion on it:Avana said:Hi everyone! Just got my notes! I will probably need lotsa help with these.. lol

Deficient said:The very first note added to my file by CPC-M, on the same day we got our sponsor approval, said "CSCD date not entered as back of photo not completed" and indeed the field entitled CSC date was not completed in the file. Of course, there seems to be no mention anywhere that I can find in the West Europe instructions about completing the backs of the photos with anything (correct me if I missed it) so I don't know what the issue is. When I searched online about it, the best I could come up with is that CSC Date is 'Client Service Commitment Date' and that there doesn't seem to be any real consequence for not having completed the backs of the photos.
Deficient said:I saw a post online where someone else had quoted "service commitment date" directly from their notes but I definitely haven't seen/heard anything from CIC that would confirm it, and the word "client" is completely a guess on my part.
I quote the following note from a post on another forum where someone was sharing their CAIPS notes (which I realise are very different in format):
"Please note no info on back of photos and additional family information from section 'B' not signed. Therefore, service commitment date not entered. CPCM/AO. Case referred to Paris. User ID: XXXXXXXX"
It's a rather similar remark to the one added to my GCMS notes so I felt it probably refers to the same thing (CAIPS "service commitment date" vs GCMS "CSC date")
BCgirl2012 said:CSC date is the date that CIC had the completed package with all of their required documents. If you look at the announced processing times, they always mention the timelines are based on a completed package. So basically this date indicated that they have a completed package on that certain date and from that day on the service commitment dates apply. This is just my 2 cents though.
