In theory, no. It's one thing if other family members are travelling with you.

You haven't specified - is this for immediate family members? Is this brand new clothing or not (i.e. their clothing they did not bring before for some reason)?

Technically you can bring gifts for $60 worth per person.

My guess, they probably won't much care if it's some clothing for your kids, for example, if it's not obviously a lot / clearly more than the limits / new and obviously so. If it's clothing your kids didn't bring with them (i.e. used clothing), probably not a thing at all.

Most likely they won't look at your stuff in detail to establish it's not yours.

But my opinion/guess has little bearing on how strict an officer might be, if they decide to.
Thank you so much.
Yes it is for my immediate family members.

My brother and father.

If I can take 60 dollars worth of gift for each, then that's enough.

Also its old clothes actually, which they did not take with them.

As an adult, your immediate family members are spouse and children.
