Team,

My Grad WP is expiring in 2 months. With my current CRS between 450-460, I am waiting as many others for a drop in points. As per current rumors, things will get better in late Fall. I believe there's a silver lining, but is there any way I can extend my WP?

I can't leave my company hanging as they need me at my current position. What are my options? Thanks for your time.

If you company really needs you, then ask them to proceed for LMIA.

Agreed - your company needs to obtain an approved LMIA. They should start the process asap (i.e. tomorrow) as you are already extremely short on time. It's not uncommon for the LMIA process to take 4-6 months to complete.

Thanks @Alexios07, but I've been working with the company for about 8 months now. Doesn't LMIA has to be processed when company is actively looking for a candidate i.e. 3 months from posting of the ad?

What are the chances of LMIA being approved when company wants no one, but me for the job? Isn't it the company trying to hire me at my own position again just for the sake of LMIA? Sorry for too many questions, but just trying to be positive before talking to the management. Thanks @Scylla.
