Just would like to help, if you are looking time line for Work permit.


My Work permit time line CHC New Delhi:

VFS Delhi Applied: 21st July
Medical letter received: 3rd August
Medical done: 4th August
Passport Submitted VFS center: 5th August
Got the visa stamp and approval letter: 21st August

I would like to say that CHC New Delhi is very fast to do all the process.

No, I had applied directly through National Job Bank and Workpolis. But I had similar job experience in Sydney, Australia.

Only Employer can apply the LMO. First get a job than only employer will apply the LMO for you. Once you have LMO you can apply the work permit.

HRSDC issue the LMO.

There are many employers who are willing to obtain LMO for the right candidates, it's not a matter of convincing, it based on the committement of the applicant. The only time employers don't want to apply for LMO is because they don't want to go through the whole process. We process LMO's for many employer's in Canada. We have to convince them, that it they don't have to do anything, that we handle all paperwork and processes.

Since they took out the E-LMO, it usually takes up to 30-90 days to process LMO.

I am bit confused about the col current job in the application. I have quit the job when i got the offer. What to fill in this col.

Also how much investment should be shown. should i show shares also.

Do we need to write any cover letter.

I am trying to find good agents but hardly any works to get work permit processed. Did you applied yourself.

Hi Rahul,

I reached canada. It is very easy to apply WP in India.

(1) The funds you have to show $10000 + 2000 (for any addittional parthner)
(2) Yes you have to write a good cover letter. In the cover letter you have describe about your education, Work Exp, and all the documents list that you will provide to CHC.

Hi Kapil...congratz for that short timelime you've got. Just have something to ask from you, maybe you can give me piece of advise on what to do. I have a brother who's currently working in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He applied for working visa and submitted the necessary documents at the Canadian Embassy in that country. The documents submitted were approved LMO, contract with the employer, photocopy of passport, police clearance, employment certification from his present employer and school records.
Just this week, he called me on the phone informing me that his application was denied due to REGULATION 179. I know this regulation 179 is something that the consulate needs other documents which can prove or convince him that the applicant will go back to his/her country of origin after the contract or work ends.

Any advise on this matter? pls....?

First of all congratulations, yar i have a positive valid LMO nd job offer from my employer in calgary, Ab. Which i have received in starting of june nd i have applied to vfs delhi on 6 july and received letter of rejection on 28 july on the ground dat i have not satisfied the visa officer dat i will leave canada after my authorised stay. Nd not demonstrated dat i have well estblished in my country. So i am gng to reapply plz help me what document should i submit to prove dis to visa officer. Plz tel me dat what documents u have submitted.
