Got my PGWP and my wife´s WP, but still waiting for my kids´ study permits

Hello! I applied for my PGWP last May 20, 2022, including my kids´study permits. My wife applied for her new work permit as well. Last October 20, 2022 me and my wife were approved for our work permits. However, my kids´study permits have not been approved or issued, and my IRCC portal account still appears as "Submitted". I sent an inquiry via Webform last November 20, 2022 (one month after my approval), but I have not heard anything back. Is this normal? What should I do? Keep waiting? Thanks!!

Raise a web form on the IRCC website if the processing time exceeds the weekly published standards. Calling IRCC is a huge pain but you could try that as well.

Thanks! Yes, I´ve already submitted a webform but no answer from IRCC yet. I´ve read that kids of temporary workers don´t need a study permit. If this is true, I don´t understand why IRCC instructions are to file the principal applicant´s work permit application, as well as spouse and kids applications. Even if kids are not required to have a study permit during the term of their parents´ work permits, how can we prove their legal status (for example, when leaving for vacations out of Canada) and coming back again?
