Hi there,
I've found this forum very helpful for information about immigration to canada. I'd really appreciate if someone could help me with my questions.
My husband is canadian and sponsored me and our two dependents to move and live to Canada. I'm German and I've startet the immigration process at April 27th,2012 when I had my medical check. Due to different circumstances we could send in the whole application not before august 6th, 2012. At the end november I've received my COPR. Our two dependents (which are already canadian citizens trough birth) were'nt listed and we emailed back to the visa office if that's correct or not. (We're still waiting for the answer).
Q. Do they have to be listed although they're already Canadian Citizens?
On my COPR the expiring date says it's the same day of my medical check a year before and that the date cannot be extended.
Q. What happens if I can't make it before or at that day to land in Canada? Would we need to repeat the whole application again?
On the COPR they say, that I would need to apply for a Permanent Resident Abroad Travel Document in case I don't stay in Canada until I receive my PR card.
Q. Could there be any problems, including a denial to get these travel documents to re-enter Canada?
I'd very thankful if there's anybody out there who could answer my questions. Thank you very much in advance.
