I am applying as an outland applicant and they sent application back after three months of waiting to tell me I was missing a form. The form they wanted me to send was from an inland application kit. :'( So here I go to the back of the line again, plus I had to fill out the forms that had become outdated since I mailed my application in May. Will this ever end ?

What a shame. I have seen this happening to a few people on this board lately. If you haven't mailed your application back yet, make sure, on the envelope and also the first page the person opening your package will see a large OUTLAND written on it. Good luck.

When you sent your package back attach the letter that they sent you,
and make your letter stating that all requested documents are included

Hopefully they will put your application back to the point where it was before....

Good luck... and be extra careful this time,

Thanks I was careful, customer service told us to sign everything again and re date all forms. I actually did send the form in they asked even tho its for the inland. I put it in a separate envelope with the letter and said I do not need this form. this is for inland and my application is an outland application. Geez. I was thinking that it might take them three months just to open the application again. Maybe not. Its so frustrating.

Thanks so much. Hope I never see that application again. Im just wondering how long it actually takes them to open the application once they receive it, I have a feeling im just to the back of the line again. >:(

there's a possibility if your application has been stamped with a date, and you enclose the letter they sent you, it won't go to back of the line. this seems to be a common issue since inland processing switched to mississauga. leads me to believe officers who are normally processing inland apps have no idea how to process outland apps and are not being properly trained!

good luck!

Didn't appear to have been stamped but I did send the letter back as the requested so maybe their is a chance that it wont go to the back of the line. They charged me too much money on my credit card too but I have been told it will be refunded. ::)
