Hello all,

My PR application is in process right now (applied after getting PNP). But I have got married in April, 2016 and added my wife's name with all required forms and documents in the end of July after a long wait of getting marriage certificate. In May, I asked to pay RPRF fees for myself but I attached fees payment receipt of my wife and mine together with my wife's add-on documents. I again got an e-mail to pay my RPRF fees in August so I resent copy of receipt to Nova scotia along with a letter of explanation. On 1st September I got medical examination request only for myself. When I inquired about my wife's status in cic, it was still saying work permit visa. I tracked the courier of add-on documents and it is also reached safely to the address I have been sending all of my documents. I am so worried if I get passport request before my wife's process. Please suggest me any way by I know that they have considered the fact that I am married now

Go to case specific enquiry page at https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx, and inform them immediately about your change on marital status. Once they know you have gotten married they will proceed to ask you to fill the application of your wife; nevertheless, as long as you keep them informed about your status change, you'll be fine,
