got ITA under CEC april, 2023. Is WES compulsory for Spouse ?

I got ITA under CEC category in this month, I have not claimed educational points for Spouse in my express entry profile. therefore, I will not need WES for my spouse, correct ? I am confused, some people are saying otherwise ? plz guid me
