got my e-AOR today,sent it in May 2009,received 28/5/09.
just wanna know if i can act with the e-AOR instead of waiting for letter by post?
don't know if my ecas status means anything,it says APPLICATION RECEIVED,do i wait for it to be transferred to local b4 i make my move

First of all congratulations on the AOR. In my view, you shouldn't wait for anything, as you are normally given 120 Days, so go ahead. Print out a copy of the email and put it on the TOP of all other documents
Secondly, Do you mean the RPR (Right of Permanent Residence) fees?

if you are asking about Right for Permanent Resident Fees, then you dont have to pay it at this stage. they will themselves request for it, usually at the same time they will request you for medicals.

cannot generalize. New Delhi asks for this along with the full application.

Hi,

Mine reached there on 29th May 09, Draft cashed on 23rd June 09. No sign of any communication from CIO. It seems that CIO does not have any systematic process to carry on assessment and all. I know the system they use is CAIPS assisted but I fail to understand how can the timelines differ so much when such cases are almost similar at initial stages.
