I just got a new job offer but the work has not yet started (I cannot provide T4). I will be sponsoring my spouse.

Can I just provide offer letter + explanation letter to IRCC when sponsoring my wife? Will this be beneficial?

You don't provide T4s. You provide an notice of assessment from CRA, pay stubs, and a letter from your employer.

As the spousal sponsorship checklist states, if you do not have one of these, you must explain in a letter how you will be able to manage your spouse's expenses.

i meant Pay stub, not T4.

So I will provide them previous notice of assessment from CRA + Offer letter from employer. But no pay stub. (they didnt mentioned pay stubs in checklist too)

Will this be enough?

I'm not a visa officer - what does the checklist item say? Are you meeting the requirements of the checklist item?

An offer letter from the employer is not the same as a letter confirming your job, duties, and rate of pay - it's just an offer.

Would suggest including a copy of your savings account or investments. Proof that you have the funds to support your spouse without government support is what really counts.

By all means include the job offer letter. It won't hurt and may help. But be sure to include other evidence per the requirements.
