I am currently living in Winnipeg and a holder of PGWP and Multiple entry TRV (I am currently employed as well), my friend (a Canadian) and I are thinking of planning a trip to Grand Forks for a day to go shopping. We will be driving my car cross the border. Now my inland PNP PR application is in process, would that be any challenges for me to return to Canada from the US after a day?
