giving up existing passport / OCI ?

anyone from Indian origin can please share experience,

once Canadian Citizenship & passport is acquired, then
1. we need to return the Indian passport
2. once passport is returned, one can Apply for OCI ...

I am planning to visit India in 2-3 months & believe, above 2 things, especially getting OCI may not be possible (last time I had to visit BSL 3 to 4 times before I could submit my Passport renewal application).

If I don't have OCI, can I get visa on arrival at Indian airport? any experience on such situation? can you please share your experience /info ?

hi,
you will get indian visa on Canadian passport. Dont show Indian Passport, this will be illegal.
