GIC question

got rejected because of financial and ties to home country. non sds in first try.

will apply online under sds this time.

1. is it a good idea to put 20k cad to GIC rather than 10k cad?
2. does last will and testament from mother saying i will inherit the house in the future help for ties in home country?

i did not re apply yet. but i will pay 1 year tuition and gic this time.

in my first try i only paid first sem tuition and showed financial statemnents

Yeah will be a good idea for sure. The more money you can show, the better your chances are. But make sure your intended program align with your background. If it doesn't then no matter how much money you show. They will still reject you.

In order to increase country tie, you can show a job that you will join when return or any ambitious plan of your that you want to do after returning home. Be solid with your SOP, make them believe that you only think about India from fast line to last of your SOP.
