Hello,

Last date for funds transfer to Scotia is 22nd November. I am sure many students are still waiting for GIC Certificate. As the deadline is approaching, it's quite obvious to have quite a lot work load at Scotia's end. I won't recommend applying with Swift Copy (T.T copy). Last date to apply for Visa is 1st December, However up to 5th December, there shouldn't be any issue at all. But as said earlier, I won't recommend applying with Swift Copy alone.

TAT for TT is 3 business days. So give it a 5 days time for funds to reflect.

i transfered 10100 cad on 14 th of nov ...

did any 1 transfer on the same day??if yes...did u recive the conformation letter??

i called up 00080...tollfree ....num they say that that money hasn't been credited yet...
.
i've sent mail to studentgic @ scotiabank.com on 20th of nov i havent got any reply yet .

i asked my bank to put swift tracker today.....!!

how much we have to transfer ?? is der any extra charges applied??

as visa last date is on 29th of nov....what am i suppose to do??

I have also transferred funds on 19th and after 2 days sent a followup mail bt no reply.
I doubt that we will get GIC certificate well before time, so my counselors advised me to request a certificate from the remittance bank as a proof of payment. With this they say i can apply for visa, but personally m also bit scared.
I will wait till tomorrow and will file my visa application with the swift copy and bank certi.

it's alright... people who have transferred funds even on 22nd or 24th, you should get your GIC in time. I still stick to not applying with just T.T copies.
