Gic certificate not recieved

Hey guys i have sent money to my gic account on 29th june but i did not recieve my gic certificate yet.iam alittle worried any one have any details of how to contact Scotia bank .please help iam tensed a lot

Thank you i called them yesterday and they told me my funds are rejected because of address mismatch what should i do now i sent reply to their mail to update address but will it change soon and can i transfer my funds again to same account

Is the address in your indian bank account and benificiary address , both same as your passport? Because mine too was rejected because my bank account address was different from passport.. i got the gic on 3rd July.

Address i gave to Scotia bank is different from that in passport that is why the funds were rejected what should i do now

Then get it updated in your Scotiabank account , once they say it is updated , revert the same payment again.. i repeat.. do not send another 10200 CAD , ask your bank to revert the same payment . It will also take less time and save you about 30000 rupees.

Money did not get refunded to my account.. i got rejection on 20th June.. then i got address updated and rverted the same payment on 25th June , 50$ were deducted from my bank account and got my gic on 3rd July.

And do remember to tell your bank to deduct any extra charges from your bank account , not from those 10200 , strictly tell them that scotiabank must receive 10200.

In my case , address in scotiabank and passport were same , but address in my bank and my passport were different , so it was my indian bank account where the problem was. So it was updated in half an hour.. but in your case address is different in scotiabank , so just contact them and make sure your address there and in passport are same..

So it took around 15 days after the rejection to get the gic certificate right. And how did you know whether the address got updated or not

And it will not take 15 days , in my case , from 20th June to 25th June , there were 3 holidays , so effectively the work started on 25th , 50$ were deducted that day and it took about 8 days ( which also includes a weekend ) .
