I guess Am on this party as well .. not sure if my file is approved or not, but things seem blurry for me. Check my GU history in the signature

Can you please elaborate on this further as in what is the statement against BG? I also got two ghost updates back to back in a series while my BG post MEP is in "we are processing stage", could you shed some light on this? My AOR is April 10th

My last GU was on 18 Sep. I got to know that all assessment are done and my file is awaiting final review.

How long should I wait for PPR ?

My AOR is 14-Dec-2018, Paris VO

No one really knows, it's only up to someone at IRCC to open up your file and trigger an PPR for you.

If you are sure everything else is finalized, then this is definitely good news and it's only a matter of time before you are requested to submit your passport.

system messages related to BG are completely useless these days. I for one had the same message since my AOR and it never changed even though my BG have actually started on second week of September with about 3 Ghost updates in between and no change in this message.

Only way to know really what's happening is to call IRCC or order notes (if you can wait for 30+ days)

Too early to worry about your file progress. It didn't even pass the six months mark

My AOR was June 28 2019

I got a ghost update today (AOR August 2019). I don't know if it's the first/second/third because I haven't been checking every day.

Any thoughts on what this means? Here's the full status...

Review of eligibility
  • We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results
  • September 24, 2019 You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents
  • Not applicable.
Interview
  • You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics
  • October 8, 2019 Completed.
Background check
  • We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision
  • Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
 
I got my ghost update a month ago. I just finished 100% of my visa processing timeline and IRCC told me (through a webform) that my application is still being processed. Do you think they are scrutinizing something further, or is the delay only due to COVID?
