First they removed all information and then update again it’s 3rd week doing same thing

Same here This whole process is so stressful and they make it worse with the daily ghost updates that mean nothing.

Guys, don't know why this thread continues to exist. IRCC explained clearly on Twitter https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1627679395069497349 that these "GUs" are just server updates, meaning that their server pulled latest info on your file from different databases. It doesn't mean that there was anyone touching your file, it just means that the info on the portal is latest available. Updates happen daily besides weekends.

GUs remain to be a thing only on the GCKey portal: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html
There an "Application updated" actually means that your file was touched and something major took place. But not on the new portal.

My tracker was not showing any update till yesterday. Background in progress till yesterday19th march. Today it is showing completed.
So do not follow tracker …. But Yes! for satisfaction, Somehow it helps.
