Hello,
I received an invitation to apply for express entry under the "Canadian experience class" with a score that also counted 3 years of previous work experience outside of Canada.
My problem is that a significant portion of this work experience was as a remote programmer, for the same company over a span of 3 years, as a half-time job while I was studying. Although I was never directly an employee at the company, I understand that it could be considered a work relationship, as it was constant, lengthy, I had a supervisor and wasn't competing against other bidders (i.e. freelancers). It wasn't an ideal job but that's a common (abusive) work relationship in my country.
Is there any way I could make this work towards my valid work experience?
