Hello,

I am an Irish citizen living in Toronto. I arrived here on the 18th of June 2013. My query is regards my Working Holiday Visa. I thought that I had been issued a 24 months visa, on account of my arrival in 2013. I had previously held a visa and lived in Vancouver from August 2011 to June 2012. However, on a recent trip to Dublin for the Christmas holidays, I realised that my current visa is labelled as expiring on the 17th of June 2014.

Under the departmental policy clause 5.34, (Canadian interests: Reciprocal employment-International Experience Canada (IEC) (formerly know as the International Youth Programs and International Exchange Programs) R205(b), C21) I believe that I am eligible for a two year visa and would like to stay for that period within the country. I was wondering what manner I would go about having this matter resolved? All advice and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes,

Sarah

I think you'd get the most help asking at one of the visa forums, this one is mainly for citizenship issues.

Good luck!
