Getting married before COPR first landing

Hi guys,

I have a valid COPR till 11th November, 2020. I am planning to get married soon.

Which would be better and safe out of the below two:

1). Get married now before first landing, inform CIC about marriage, submit old COPR and Visa, WAIT FOR PROCESSING, and then get new and updated COPR and visa for both (me and my wife).
2). Do landing before 11th November, 2020, get my PR card in hand and then sponsor my wife under family class while living in Canada?

Which would be a better option? What are the tentative processing times considering the current COVID situation? What are the chances of rejections in either cases?

You CANNOT IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES get married and land without your COPR being revised.

IF you get married and land without your COPR being revised, you will NEVER be allowed to sponsor your spouse.

Is your spouse visa exempt or does she have a TRV?
