I already have the translation and notarization now do I send this to the Department of Foreign Affairs to get this? I've contacted vital statistics they say they cannot issue me any marriage certificate from a foreign one. I contacted foreign affairs they said in an email they can only authenticate Canadian documents and on the phone someone told me to just send the documents they can get legalized.
Primarily I need this for employment with the military again because they do not consider the marriage valid until they have it and its slowing down my process to get back in (doing another additional 6 months for security clearance after waiting 14 months).
